Volunteer
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the library. In order to volunteer, you must first complete the volunteer application, which is available at the Library's Registration Desk. The Library staff encourages a commitment of two hours a week, but works to be flexible with each volunteer. If you are a teen interested in volunteering, check out our volunteens program!
Current Volunteer Needs
Computer Assistants
Volunteer computer assistants needed to help patrons at the public computer stations. Computer Assistants will actively walk round computer workstations on second floor to assist patrons with such questions as how to reserve computer, how to use vendacard, how to print, how to sign up for email account, how to make attachments to email as well as a variety of basic word processing and spreadsheet tips. Applications available at the Registration Desk.
Shifts needed: 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Saturday / Sunday 2 to 5 p.m.
Knowledge needed: Basic knowledge of Windows, Internet, web based email, Word, Excel
