Is there a limit on how many DVDs I can check out? View Answer »»Mount Prospect residents are limited to 4 feature film DVDs and 15 nonfiction DVDs. Reciprocal borrowers can check out 2 DVDs. They cannot check out New feature film DVDs.
What is the limit for other AV? View Answer »»Residents may check out 15 CDs, feature and nonfiction videocassettes, and nonfiction DVDs. Reciprocal borrowers may check out 6 audiovisual items at one time with a limit of 2 DVDs.
How many things can I check out at one time? View Answer »»See limits above. There are no limits on how many books you may check out.
How do you register for storytimes and other programs? View Answer »»Register for storytimes in person at the Youth Desk. Register for other programs at the Registration Desk, or call 847-253-5675, or online.
Do you have AR (Accelerated Reader) lists? AR tests? View Answer »»Yes, the Library has AR lists from Mount Prospect schools. No, the Library does not have AR tests. We own most of the AR titles. We do not specially mark them but we will be happy to help you find them on our shelves.
Is there an age limit for getting a Library card? How old how does my child have to be? View Answer »»There is no age limit for getting a Library card. Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present at time of signing.
Who takes care of your fish and the fish tank? View Answer »»Our tank was set up and is maintained by Aqua-Safari Aquarium, Inc.
